REAL RAPP: Empowering Growth Through Raw, Authentic, Purposeful Practices

Monday, October 27 from 1-2 p.m. | Make the most of your job or internship in a monthly professional development series for student staff featuring presenters from across campus! In this month’s session led by Shay Lumpkin, Director of TRIO Programs, student employees will learn how self-awareness and development can guide professional growth. You will leave with strategies about tangible goal-setting, guided reflection, and practical tools to measure success. Register at https://tinyurl.com/OctSeptSesh

Please note:

  • We encourage all departments with participating students to allow them to be paid (clocked in) for this opportunity, as supporting professional development time is customary across VCU. Ask your supervisor if they can support you in this way.
  • We are exploring the opportunity to receive a digital badge/credential for participating in the monthly workshops in this series. Don’t miss this second one so it can count towards recognizing your learning and development in this way.
