Post a Micro-Internship
To meet your part-time, internship, and full-time hiring needs, we recommend Handshake. If you are interested in hiring for short-term, paid, professional projects as a tool to assess candidates’ skills beyond the resume, and create a long-term talent pipeline, we recommend Parker Dewey, VCU's platform for posting project-based roles, as they handle the logistics, and you get the data. The Parker Dewey platform connects VCU students and alumni with organizations like yours that need support.
Unlike traditional internships, Micro-Internships can take place year-round, typically range from 10 to 40 hours of work, and are due between one week and one month after kick-off (i.e., project-based). Companies ranging from Fortune 100 companies to emerging start-ups, and across departments including sales, marketing, technology, HR, and finance, utilize Micro-Internships. These projects enable VCU students and alumni to demonstrate their skills, explore career paths, and build professional networks as they seek the right full-time role.
