Post a Micro-Internship

To meet your part-time, internship, and full-time hiring needs, we recommend Handshake. If you are interested in hiring for short-term, paid, professional assignments that are project-based, you can leverage Parker Dewey as VCU's platform for posting project-based roles often referred to as Micro-Internships. The Parker Dewey platform connects VCU students and alumni with organizations like yours that need support.

Unlike traditional internships, Micro-Internships can take place year-round, typically range from 5 to 40 hours of work, and are due between one week and one month after kick-off (i.e., project-based). Companies ranging from those in the Fortune 100 to emerging start-ups and across departments including sales, marketing, technology, HR, and finance utilize Micro-Internships. These projects enable VCU students and alumni to demonstrate skills, explore career paths, and build a professional network as they seek the right full-time role.
Regardless of your role, industry, or organization size, students from Virginia Commonwealth University can help. If you want to expand your recruiting pool to access diverse talent with in-demand skills and the drive and focus to succeed, Micro-Internships make it easy. Parker Dewey is a great option to improve the effectiveness of your hiring efforts and lower the costs associated with onboarding. We've got you covered if you need immediate help on projects because you or your team is overloaded.
